Tragic Death of Dad-of-Seven Shakes Wolverhampton
The family of Deavon Harrison, 46, are mourning after the father-of-seven was found dead following a brutal attack in Wolverhampton on December 30. Police are stepping up their hunt for the suspects and have slammed a fresh appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
Found Seriously Injured – Couldn’t Be Saved
Deavon was discovered badly hurt at a home on Dunstall Hill just before 1am. Despite emergency efforts, he tragically died at the scene. One man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody as detectives carry out intense questioning.
Heartbroken Family Speak Out
“He will be sorely missed by his entire family. Me, his stepdad, 13 siblings, seven children and one granddaughter,” said Deavon’s grieving mother. “We are devastated, shocked, and deeply saddened by this tragic news. He was our first-born son. We will love and cherish you always.”
Police Launch Full Investigation
Detective Inspector Michelle Cordell, leading the probe, expressed sympathy for Deavon’s family. She vowed to get to the bottom of the killing, saying the investigation is moving quickly with several leads being followed up.
DI Cordell urged the public: “It’s vital anyone with information comes forward now. If you were in the area and saw suspicious activity or have dash-cam or CCTV footage, please contact us immediately.”
