Violent Night in Maidstone: Five Men Hit with Over 30 Charges After Club Brawl
Chaos Erupts Outside Maidstone Nightclub
Early on Sunday, 28 September 2025, a violent brawl exploded on Gabriel’s Hill, Maidstone. Police were called at 1:05am after a man, refused entry to a nightclub, allegedly attacked staff. Four others from his group quickly joined in, turning the scene into chaos. Windows were smashed as objects were thrown, leaving serious damage in their wake.
Five Arrested, Facing Heavy Charges
- Three men were arrested on the spot for assault and criminal damage.
- Two more were picked up later — one on 29 September, the other on 2 January 2026.
- By 26 March, all five faced a staggering 31 charges including violent disorder, assault causing actual bodily harm, and criminal damage.
The Alleged Instigators Named
- Ethan Beaney, 20, Camp Way, Maidstone – six offences.
- Joshua Fennessey, 21, Selwyin Place, Orpington – seven charges, including possession of a Class B drug.
- Arthur Hicks, 19, Mangravet Avenue, Maidstone – seven offences.
- Dre Mitchell, 20, Oaktree Avenue, Maidstone – five offences.
- Jamie Walker, 21, Clare Place, Maidstone – six charges, also including possession of a Class B drug.
All five are out on bail and set to face Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 28 May 2026.
