Four Men Attacked in Forest Gate Knife Chaos
Early on August 10, four men were rushed to hospital after vicious knife attacks in Forest Gate. Police were called around 3:45 a.m. after reports of men armed with knives trying to break into a restaurant on Romford Road. Officers found three men with stab wounds there, and a fourth victim nearby at the Sprowston Road junction. No arrests have been made yet.
Illegal Rave Turns Bloody in Newham
Just hours later on August 11, three men were stabbed at an illegal rave on Bidder Street near Stephenson Street in Newham. Two men suffered stab wounds, while a third badly cut his hand. All remain in hospital as police establish a crime scene. No suspects are in custody.
Teen Stabbed in Hither Green, 43-Year-Old Attacked in Barnet
- A teenage boy was stabbed in Manor Park, Hither Green, on August 11 just before 12:50 p.m. His injuries are not life-threatening and police have made no arrests.
- Later that evening, a 43-year-old man was stabbed in Hampden Square, Barnet. He was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Police arrested a 26-year-old from Enfield on suspicion of assault.
Shocking Double Stabbing in Leicester Square – Innocent 11-Year-Old Girl Severely Injured
In a chilling attack on August 12, an 11-year-old girl and her 34-year-old mother were stabbed in Leicester Square. The girl sustained serious injuries but is expected to survive; her mother’s injuries are minor. A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
Heroic local security guard Abdullah disarmed and restrained the attacker until police arrived. Abdullah and his team gave first aid to the child before emergency services took over. Detective Chief Superintendent Christina Jessah lauded their bravery, calling it “the best of London.”
Police say the attack does not appear terror-related. The suspect and victims were strangers. Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
