Missing 81-Year-Old John Francis Vanishes in Yateley
Hampshire Police are urgently seeking help to find John Francis, 81, who disappeared in Yateley today. The pensioner was last spotted at 3pm in the Coleridge Avenue area after leaving home to visit the shops.
Family and Police Growing Increasingly Worried
John’s family have not heard from him since and both they and the police are deeply concerned for his safety. He’s described as:
- White, slim build
- 5ft 10in tall
- Grey hair, balding on top
At the time, he wore blue jeans, a blue shirt, a grey coat, and sunglasses. He may also be carrying a plastic bag.

John is fond of Yateley Common and is known to visit the area frequently. Police urge anyone who spots him or thinks they might have seen him today to get in touch immediately.
