Emergency Scramble to White Cliffs of Dover Beach
Three coastguard search and rescue teams from Dover, Deal, and Folkestone have rushed to Crab Bay at the base of the iconic White Cliffs of Dover this lunchtime. The HART Team from the South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Police officers are also on the scene.
RNLI Lifeboat Called In
The All-Weather RNLI Dover lifeboat has been dispatched to assist with the operation. Reports suggest a person has been found on the beach, though details remain scarce.
Authorities Tight-Lipped for Now
Kent Police and the UK Coastguard have yet to release any official statements on the incident.
