Pedestrian Dies After Minibus Smash in Greatstone
Tragedy struck in Greatstone near New Romney on Saturday, 16 June 2018, when a blue Renault Trafic minibus hit a 62-year-old man walking along Dunes Road.
Victim Flown to Hospital but Dies
The crash occurred at the junction with Hardy Road. The man was airlifted to hospital but sadly later died from his injuries.
Companion Hurt, Driver Unscathed
A second man walking with the victim suffered minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital. The minibus driver escaped without injury.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Collision investigators are appealing for anyone with information about the crash to get in touch as enquiries continue.
