Tragic Crash in Connaught Square Leaves Woman Dead
At 8:55pm on Tuesday, August 9, chaos hit Connaught Square, W2, when a Renault Modus smashed into several parked vehicles. Police and the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene.
Passenger Dies After Horrific Collision
A woman in her 70s, riding as a passenger in the Renault, was taken to hospital. Despite frantic efforts by medics, she sadly passed away on Saturday, August 20. Her family have been informed.
Driver Cooperating as Police Hunt Witnesses
The Renault driver stopped at the scene and is now helping cops with their probe. Detectives from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit want to hear from anyone who saw what happened or caught it on dash cam.
