Man Dies After Nightclub Drug Incident in Tottenham

Tragedy struck at The Cause nightclub on Ashley Road, Tottenham, in the early hours of Saturday, 31 July. Police were called just after 3am when several people fell ill.

A 21-year-old man was rushed to hospital but was later pronounced dead. His family have been informed. Two other men remain in hospital in stable condition.

Drugs Linked to Unexplained Death

The death is currently unexplained, with a post-mortem planned soon. Police believe all involved had taken drugs, though none were known to each other.

Police Warn of Dangerous Drug Supply

Superintendent Simon Crick, overseeing Enfield and Haringey policing, issued a stark warning: “There is no safe way of taking illegal drugs. These incidents are deeply concerning. We urge anyone with drugs bought near the nightclub to dispose of them immediately.”

He added: “We are investigating where these drugs came from and urge anyone with info to contact us.”
