Man Shot in Thamesmead: Police Hunting Witnesses
Chaos erupted in Manordene Road, Thamesmead, on Friday evening after reports of a shooting at around 6pm. A 28-year-old man was rushed to hospital with gunshot wounds and is now in a stable condition.

Police and forensic teams have sealed off the area since the shooting, working tirelessly to gather evidence. No arrests have been made yet as detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime South (Trident) launch an urgent appeal for witnesses.
Call for Witnesses
Detectives said: “Police were called to Manordene Road, SE28 at 18:05hrs on Friday to reports of a man with gunshot wounds. The injured man was found at the scene and taken to hospital.”
