Missing Dad Alert: Colchester on High Alert for Christopher Scales
Christopher Scales, 40, vanished from his Colchester home on February 1. Since then, police and locals have launched relentless, highly visible searches across town. The hunt is still very much on.
Heartfelt Plea from Wife Emma
“Chris, no matter where you are, how you’re feeling, or what you’re doing, please come home. If you can’t, just let us know you’re safe,” said Emma Robinson, 48.
“You are loved; you are so kind, and you are a wonderful husband and father. Please come back to us.”
Emma and Christopher have been together for 22 years. They share two children: Harry, 20, and Lily, 15. The family is devastated and desperate for answers.
Community Rallies as Search Intensifies
Christopher, a care worker, was last seen near his New Town home just after 9pm on February 1. He was wearing a black or dark blue Lacoste t-shirt, black Adidas tracksuit bottoms, black Reebok trainers with white soles, and a dark blue denim Sherpa jacket.
He stands about 5ft 8ins tall, with brown hair and a beard.
Emma said, “Christopher is loved by everyone — he’s so popular and brings joy to many lives.”
She revealed she has received nearly 500 messages of support from friends and the local community. “It’s been so comforting — thank you all.”
