Man Hospitalised After Brutal Assault at Dream Valley Festival

Kent police have launched a witness hunt after a shocking attack at the Dream Valley festival in Lydd.

A man in his twenties was viciously hit with a metal object—believed to be a gas canister—while dancing in a festival tent between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on Saturday, May 28, 2022. The assault left him with serious facial injuries, landing him in hospital.

Appeal for Witnesses and Video Footage

PC Daniel Sains said, “We are speaking to the victim, witnesses, and organisers to piece together what happened. We urge anyone who saw the fight or has footage from inside the tents around that time to come forward.”
