Three Charged with Murder of Teen Chloe Watson Dransfield
West Yorkshire Police have charged three people over the brutal killing of 16-year-old Chloe Watson Dransfield. Chloe was found with fatal stab wounds in Austhorpe, Leeds, on Saturday, 28 March.
Who’s Been Charged?
- Kayla Smith, 18, Kennerleigh Avenue, Leeds
- Archie Rycroft, 19, Middleton Park Road, Leeds
- A 17-year-old boy (name withheld for legal reasons)
All three have been remanded in custody and will appear before Leeds Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday). They are all identified as White British.
Ongoing Inquiry and Other Arrests
Another 18-year-old man from Leeds remains in police custody, also suspected of murder. Meanwhile, an 18-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy, previously arrested on suspicion of murder, have been released on bail as investigations continue.
