Armed officers from Kent Police, along with six SECAmb vehicles, have raced to a dramatic incident on the Isle of Sheppey.
Chaos at Saddlebrook Park, Leysdown
Police stormed the Saddlebrook Park site after reports a woman was hit by a vehicle nearby. Eyewitnesses say the driver appeared to be armed, sparking a major response.
Multiple Vehicles Seized
- A white van and a grey BMW have been recovered by police contractors.
- Another vehicle was seized from Danes Drive, close to the scene.
Air Ambulance Called But Returns to Base
The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance was scrambled to the island but later headed back to Redhill, Surrey. The incident is still ongoing.
