Wembley Launches Probe After Hundreds Sneak Into Oasis Gig
Chaos erupted at Wembley Stadium after reports emerged that up to 200 fans gatecrashed an Oasis concert without tickets. The cheeky trick? Sneaking in through a disabled entrance and paying a hefty £350 each to gain access.
Scandal at the Golden Circle
The Mancunian legends played five sold-out shows at Wembley between late July and early August, with two more planned for September. But insiders told The Sun that a single duplicated ticket was scanned multiple times to let groups of fans slip inside. These lucky gatecrashers were then handed VIP golden circle wristbands, putting them right at the front of the stage.
“We were given tickets that were all the same,” one attendee revealed. “A woman marked our hands, and we showed the stamp to the door staff. Then someone gave us golden circle wristbands. We just walked in like we belonged.”
Fans were allegedly told to ignore their official entry points and use a disabled entrance known as “Entrance M,” where security checks apparently took a backseat.
Wembley Responds: Police Could Get Involved
A spokesperson for Wembley’s operator, 1 Stadium, said:
“Entering Wembley Stadium without a ticket is a serious offence and we are investigating these allegations. If they are substantiated, we will refer our evidence to the police.”
Oasis on the Road Again
The recent Wembley residency marked Oasis’s first joint performances there since 2009. After a gig at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium on August 12, the band continue their world tour with dates at Dublin’s Croke Park, then across Japan, South Korea, South America, Australia, and North America.
