Fire crews from Hampshire have been busy this afternoon a week into the Easter holidays after a trio of teenagers got stuck in the mud on Gosport Fire crews and paramedics were mobilised to Haslar Bridge in Gosport just after 4.20pm on Monday. A specialist water rescue team from Fareham were also called to rescue two 14-year-old boys and a 16-year-old girl from the mud after the boat they in became lodge in the mud. A spokesman for service said confirmed it’s water rescue team station at Fareham had removed the boat from the sandbar just before 5.30pm. Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service checked over the teenagers. It is unclear if any required further treatment at the hospital A further crew from Gosport supported the crews from Fareham along with a coastguard from Hillhead in the rescue effort.
