Hungerford, Berkshire Thursday 8th December Two people have been injured after two cars and a minibus crashed into a Tesco supermarket in Berkshire. Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service have several appliances at the scene, fire fighters using specialist cutting equipment freed the two trapped and have been taken to hospital. Has been said by witnesses at the scene say that car is still stuck in the building and does not look safe. One shopper who was inside at the time said we were shopping inside when the incident happen were told to evacuate the building calmly through the nearest fire exit they could find and not to go towards the front of the store. Structural engineers are on the scene assessing the damage to the store. Tesco confirmed the building is currently closed till further notice. A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “We were called shortly before 5pm today following reports of a car colliding with several other vehicles as well as the wall of the Tesco store in Everland Road. “Our officers and other emergency services are currently at the scene.” The two people have since been released by emergency services from the vehicles according to Tesco, who have confirmed that several vehicles were involved in the collision, including one (vehicle) with the building. https://youtu.be/LEluAfOKj_M
