Teenager Fighting for His Life after Oxford Stabbing Two arrested

A teenager boy has been rushed hospital to the John Radcliffe hospital with life-threatening injuries this afternoon following a stabbing on Cowley Road in Oxford. One witness described seeing the victim lying on the ground, and said he was told by a friend he had been ‘stabbed in the heart by a knife’. Thames Valley Police confirmed the road is partly closed outside Sainsburys after a stabbing. Security guard at the Sainsbury’s supermarket in Cowley Road, Danny Boulahneche, said: “I do not want to see this at all. Nobody wants to see somebody get stabbed.” He said he is not sure if the victim would manage to survive. Mr Boulahneche added: “His friend was there and told me he had been stabbed in the heart by a knife. “I rang the police straight away. I did not see it happen. “He was definitely just a teenager. He might have been coming home from school.” He continued: “They walked onto Cowley Road and then one of them fell to the floor. “I ran over to them and asked ‘what’s going on?’. “The friend said ‘my friend has been stabbed in the heart with a knife’.” Cordons have been set up between Union Street, Princes Street, and James Street following the assault before 3pm. South Central Ambulance Service spokesman David Gallagher said: “We were called at 2.46pm to reports that an 18-year-old male was seriously assaulted. “We sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance. He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in a serious life threatening condition.” Manager of nearby Truck Store record shop, Carl Smithson, said: “I saw someone lying on the ground with a bunch of people around them by Sainsbury’s. “I think it was a man on the floor.
