A man and a woman were taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car in Folkestone

Kent Police was called to the incident at a roundabout on Bouverie Road West, at the junction with Castle Hill Avenue, at around 4.40pm on Sunday 27 February 2022. South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended and the two pedestrians were taken to a local hospital with injuries. The driver of a vehicle was arrested at the scene on suspicion of careless driving and he has since been released pending further investigation. Officers investigating the circumstances would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision. They would also like to speak to anyone who has dashcam or CCTV footage that could assist their enquiries. Anyone with information should call 01843 222289 quoting refence 27-0910.
