Knife Offender Nabbed Near Tunbridge Wells
A man caught with a stash of deadly weapons in his car near Tunbridge Wells has been charged with multiple knife offences.
Police Find Hand Axe and Knives in Rusthall Vehicle
On 25 April 2020, officers patrolling Cranwell Road, Rusthall, stopped a suspicious vehicle. A search revealed a hand axe and several knives hidden in the glove compartment and centre console. Another knife was discovered attached to the driver’s keyring.
Jason Jeferys Faces Multiple Charges
Jason Jeferys, 49, from Valley Road, Rusthall, was arrested at the scene. He now faces four counts of possessing a knife or bladed article in a public place, plus a charge of driving without insurance.
Jeferys appeared via virtual court hearing on 10 November and was granted bail. His next court date is set for 11 January 2021 at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court.
