The family of 19-year-old Ashton Harrington have paid a heartfelt tribute following his death in Whitstable over the Easter weekend.
Stabbing Claims Young Life on Good Friday
Ashton was found with stab wounds in Belmont Road at 2:04am on Friday 3 April 2026 (Good Friday). Despite emergency services rushing to the scene, he was pronounced dead. Two suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with the stabbing.
Heartbroken Mum Remembers Loving Son
Ashton’s mother, Camille Harrington, described him as a “doting father” who “could light up a room with his smile and laugh.” She said:
“My son didn’t deserve to be taken so cruelly. He had his whole life ahead of him. He was the most loyal, loving, funny boy with the biggest personality. He was loved by all who knew him and was happiest when with his friends and daughter, who he absolutely doted on. He was a mummy’s boy and idolised his brothers and stepdad. We won’t stop until we get justice for you, Ashton. We love you so, so much and life will never be the same without you. I’m so glad he spent his last day with his daughter and myself, and I will cherish this forever. I hope wherever you are, you are happy. This isn’t goodbye, this is see you later. Love you Ash.”
