A number of fire crews from Kent fire and Rescue have been called to tackle a flat fire on St Mary’s Island near Chatham this afternoon.
Flames could be seen shooting out of the windows of the property on The Causeway,
A Spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said they are currently at the scene of a building fire on The Causeway, St Mary’s Island near Chatham. Ten fire engines and a height vehicle have been sent to the scene and firefighters are working to bring the fire under control.
