A former school dinner lady has avoided a prison sentence after sending sexually explicit messages to a young boy

The court was told that Sewell was working as a dinner lady and cleaner at a local primary school when sexual messages she had sent to a boy aged under 13 were discovered.
Sewell was arrested earlier this year and admitted sending the messages with the full intent of engaging the child into sexual activity.
The judge handed Sewell an eight-month prison sentence which was suspended for two years
She was told to register as a sex offender for five years and a sexual harm prevention order was made for five years
Sewell was told to complete a 25-day rehabilitation course
