Murder Probe Launched Amid Road Chaos

The Metropolitan Police’s Homicide and Serious Crime Command has launched a murder investigation. Bedford Hill is sealed off both ways with a large police cordon. Local bus routes are diverted as detectives comb the area.

Paramedics were forced to leave their rapid response vehicles inside the crime scene. A specialist bloodhound and police dog handler have been spotted sweeping the nearby streets and property for clues.

Eyewitness: ‘I Could Have Been Next’

An Uber driver living next to the scene said, “I feel very lucky. Normally, I’d come home around this time and park on my neighbour’s drive. I heard the man got shot. What if it had been me? They might have thought I was him.”

The Met Police and London Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
