Arson Probe Launched After Garden Blaze on Isle of Wight
Police are investigating a suspected arson after a fire broke out in a garden in Binstead this morning. Fire crews from the Isle of Wight rushed to the scene shortly after 8.30am to tackle the flames.
Quick Response From Firefighters
The blaze erupted at the rear of a garden on the corner of Parkway and Coniston Avenue. Firefighters quickly used a hose reel jet to douse the fire and bring it under control.
Minor Damage, But Police Now Leading The Investigation
Damage was reported to be minor, but Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police have taken over the probe. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as they seek to find who started the fire.
