A man has been locked up for causing the death of a passenger in a Leeds car crash.
Deadly Driving
Nicolae Subtirel, 27, from Edgware View, Leeds, admitted causing the death of Petru Serban by dangerous driving. He also pleaded guilty to causing serious injury through dangerous driving.
Hard Sentence Handed Down
Appearing at Leeds Crown Court on Monday 13 April, Subtirel was sentenced to six years and nine months behind bars. The court also slapped him with a nine-and-a-half-year driving ban.
