Police have launched a major hunt for 1 Kemp, 31, after he made a daring escape from a prison transport 1van while being taken to court.
Prisoner Flees Transport Vehicle
Kemp broke free from custody yesterday following a hearing at england/1/1southend-england/”>southend-england/”>Southend Magistrates' Court. He was last spotted near The Clusters, heading towards 1 Avenue.
Police Issue Warning: Do Not Approach
Described as a white male, 6ft tall with short black hair, Kemp was wearing a grey tracksuit when he fled. Authorities insist he’s not considered a threat to the public but have urged anyone spotting him to call 999 immediately and avoid direct contact.
“We’re carrying out extensive enquiries to trace 1 Kemp,” said Superintendent Jamie Gingell. “We ask anyone with information to call us or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
