Missing Woman Last Spotted Near Newton Abbot
Leona was last seen at 9.15am on Monday 20 December in the Hele Park area of Newton Abbot. Originally from North Devon, police believe she may have travelled to Bideford.
Police Urge Leona to Contact Her Family
Officers are appealing for Leona to get in touch with her family in Newton Abbot. Detective Inspector Dave Pebworth said:
“Enquiries are ongoing to locate Leona and we need the public’s help. We are supporting her friends and family and urge Leona to contact them to let them know she’s safe and well.
This time of year is important for families. If you know where Leona is, please encourage her to reach out. Leona, if you’re reading this, you are not in any trouble. Please contact us or someone you trust.”

- White female, slim-medium build
- Approximately 4ft 9ins tall
- Hazel eyes
- Long light-brown hair down to mid-back with a bald patch above right ear
- Wearing grey/blue leggings or skinny trousers
- Dark fur coat and flip flops
- Carrying a pink bag
