Rail Engineering Works for Bank Holiday Weekend Effecting the Southcoast

All lines in the Portsmouth area will be closed all day throughout the Holiday weekend for maintenance and renewal work. The lines between Havant and Cosham will also be closed on Saturday. ► Saturday service • Fast services between London Waterloo and Portsmouth via Haslemere will be replaced by buses between Havant and Portsmouth Harbour. Some will make extra stops between Haslemere and Havant. • Stopping services will run between London Waterloo and Haslemere, connecting there with the altered fast services. • All train services to and from Portsmouth via Cosham will be replaced by buses between Fareham and Portsmouth Harbour. ► Sunday service • Services between London Waterloo and Portsmouth via Haslemere will be replaced by buses between Havant and Portsmouth Harbour. • Services between Portsmouth and London Waterloo via Fareham and Eastleigh, also South West Trains services between Portsmouth and Southampton, will be diverted to run to and from Havant. Connecting bus services will run between Cosham and Portsmouth Harbour. ► Holiday Monday service • Fast services between London Waterloo and Portsmouth via Haslemere will be replaced by buses between Havant and Portsmouth Harbour. Some will make extra stops between Haslemere and Havant. • Stopping services will run between London Waterloo and Haslemere, connecting there with the altered fast services. • Services between London Waterloo and Portsmouth via Eastleigh and Fareham will be replaced by buses between Fareham and Portsmouth Harbour. • South West Trains services between Southampton Central and Portsmouth will be diverted to run to and from Havant. Connecting bus services will run between Cosham and Portsmouth Harbour. ► This work will also affect Southern and Great Western Railway services to and from Portsmouth (and Southern services to Southampton on Saturday).
