Thieves Target Elderly Shoppers in Sheffield

Between 24 July and 23 August, a gang of women has been preying on elderly female shoppers in Sheffield. Their mission? Snatch purses and valuables from unsuspecting victims in Hillsborough, Ecclesfield, and Sheffield city centre.

Victims Left Shaken

Chief Inspector Sarah Gilmour spoke out, saying: “These women have repeatedly targeted vulnerable people for their own financial gain.” She added one victim was just 91 years old and has been left distressed by the ordeal.

Police Hunt Suspects

Police are on the case but need the public’s help. They’re desperate to identify the women pictured, as they could hold key information to crack the case. If you recognise them or have any leads, don’t stay silent.
