Officers from Hampshire Constablary have charged a man with aggravated burglary following an incident that took place in Downs Park Avenue at around 12.35pm on Wednesday 30 January. It was reported that threats were made to the occupants of a house on Downs Park Avenue by a man who stole a wallet and handbag from inside. Dean Lewis Lee, aged 28, of no fixed abode has since been charged with aggravated burglary, burglary, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. He has been held on remand and will appear before Southampton Crown Court on April 8.
