Serious Crash in Frimley Park Shuts Road for Hours
Emergency crews raced to a two-vehicle crash in Frimley Park late Saturday night. Surrey Roads Policing officers, South East Coast Ambulance Service paramedics, and fire teams from Surrey and Hampshire were called out just after 10pm on November 12.
Major Road Closure on Cobham Road
Officers slammed a full road closure on Cobham Road near Frimley Services Station and The Mallards. The busy route stayed shut both ways for nearly four hours to allow fire crews to rescue a trapped driver and clear the wreckage.
Dramatic Rescue from Crumpled Peugeot 107
The smash happened close to the Bicknell Road junction. Firefighters from Rushmoor and Camberley used specialist cutting gear to slice off the roof of a blue Peugeot 107. The driver was stuck inside after crashing head-on with a silver Audi A4.
After a tense rescue, fire crews freed the trapped driver, who was handed over to paramedics and rushed to Frimley Park Hospital for treatment.
