A house fire in East London has resulted in five people, including two children, being rushed to the hospital. The incident unfolded on Scotts Road in Leyton, within a mid-terraced house that had been converted into flats. A swift response from emergency services saw the deployment of six fire engines and approximately 40 firefighters to combat the blaze.

The London Fire Brigade reported that the fire had extensively damaged the first-floor flat and the roof of the property. Additionally, the ground-floor flat suffered partial fire-related damage. To gain a better vantage point of the fire, one of the Brigade’s 32-meter ladders was utilized at the scene.
