In a harrowing incident on the M66 motorway in May, a dangerous driver, Adil Iqbal, 22, who filmed himself weaving recklessly between cars moments before a fatal crash, has had his sentence increased. The crash claimed the life of 38-year-old Frankie Jules-Hough, who was 17 weeks pregnant with her first daughter.

Iqbal had recorded himself reaching speeds of 123mph in his father’s BMW before losing control of the vehicle. The crash occurred when the BMW collided with Ms. Jules-Hough’s Skoda Fabia, which had pulled over on the hard shoulder due to a tire puncture.

Tragically, Ms. Jules-Hough suffered unsurvivable brain injuries, and her unborn daughter, Neeve, also lost her life two days later in the hospital. The grieving family had to witness her passing without her regaining consciousness.
