Sex Offender Jailed for Harassing Schoolgirls Near Bath
A registered sex offender has been locked up for a year after targeting two schoolgirls with a shocking question. David Blackwood, 58, ambushed the youngsters on their way home in Combe Down near Bath, firing a sexually explicit question before sprinting off.
Swift Police Action and Tough Court Sentence
Blackwood pleaded guilty at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on 3 March to sexual communication with a child, breaching the Sex Offenders’ Register, and breaking a Sexual Harm Prevention Order. The court hit him with a 12-month prison term, a £187 victim surcharge, and £84 in court costs.
