Park Attack Horror: Man Jailed for Poisonous Spray Assault

A man who terrorised families in Sutton Coldfield with a noxious spray has been slammed with a hefty four-year prison sentence.

Swift Arrest After Shocking Park Incident

Bradley Baker, 32, was locked up within two hours of the attack at Sutton Park on 14 August 2024. Four innocent park-goers were caught in the vile spray. Two needed emergency ambulance treatment, while the other two were checked in hospital. Luckily, no serious or lasting injuries were reported.

Guilty Verdict in Poison Spray Case

Baker was slapped with four charges of administering a noxious substance and one count of outraging public decency. Birmingham Crown Court found him guilty on Monday, 16 March 2024.

“A man who sprayed a noxious substance at people in a park in Sutton Coldfield has been jailed for four years,” confirmed a West Midlands Police spokesperson.
