Mardi Gras Fancy Dress & Mind-Blowing Art

This year’s fancy dress theme is Mardi Gras. Festival-goers are encouraged to don feathers and beads, show off their best shimmies, and party in style.

Shindig’s arts programme is dialled up to eleven with giant welded sculptures, fire-breathing art, and interactive installations from the Mutoid Waste Company and Rockaway Park creatives.

Don’t miss high-wire stunts by Chris Bullzini and the rambunctious Pirates of the Carabina.

Wellness Meets Wildness

Need to chill out? Shanti Shala offers yoga, massage, pilates, tai chi, ecstatic dance and a wide range of therapies. Plus, the biggest-ever Craft Area features workshops from felt-making to woodworking and jewellery-making for all ages.

A Unique Festival Experience

Started by the Ghetto Funk label crew, Shindig has grown into a beloved festival known for an epic lineup and friendly vibe. There are no big main stages here—just stretch marquees filled with music, circus acts, spoken word, workshops, and well-being treats.

Calling itself the “Best Family Rave”, Shindig blends a gig, free party, circus, crafts, wellness, and a kids’ bash into one unforgettable weekend.
