Tragic Crash in Rainham: Woman Dies After Three-Vehicle Collision
Emergency services rushed to New Road at the junction with Wennington Road, Rainham (RM13) at 8.31am on Wednesday 19 April following a serious crash involving a car, a lorry, and a van.
Woman in Her 50s Killed at the Scene
Despite swift first aid, the female driver of the car, believed to be in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have informed her next of kin, who are being supported by specially trained officers.
Lorry and Van Drivers Injured but Not Arrested
The lorry driver was not arrested and is cooperating with police inquiries. Both he and the van driver were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
