British Transport Police Seek Family of Man Who Died on Birmingham Railway
British Transport Police have launched a public appeal to find the family of a man who tragically died on the railway in Ladywood, Birmingham last month.
Man Dies on Tracks in Birmingham
At around 9.15am on Monday 23 June, emergency services rushed to reports of a casualty on the railway tracks in Birmingham. Paramedics battled to save the victim, but 39-year-old Brian Bande was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Bande, originally from Zimbabwe, had ties to several areas across England including Birmingham, Wiltshire, Dorset, and Bournemouth. Police have confirmed the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
Family Remains Missing – Police Launch Nationwide Search
Since the death, officers have been unable to track down any next of kin or family members. Despite exhaustive national checks, no relatives have come forward to be notified about Mr Bande’s passing.
British Transport Police are now urging anyone who knew Brian Bande or has information about his family to come forward and help.
