Tragic Death of 11-Year-Old Girl in Majorca Holiday Horror
An 11-year-old girl has died after falling 65ft from the seventh floor of a hotel in Majorca, cutting short a family holiday in devastating circumstances.
Fatal Fall at Club Mac Resort
The heartbreaking incident happened around 6:30am at the Jupiter building, part of the three-star Club Mac resort in Puerto de Alcudia, northeast Majorca. According to local reports, the girl wandered onto a terrace while her family slept and leaned over the railing. She tragically plummeted to the roof of a first-floor restaurant below.
Emergency Crew Unable to Save Girl
Paramedics and medical teams rushed to the scene and tried desperately to revive her. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the spot.
Family Offered Support as Investigation Underway
An autopsy is planned today at the Institute of Legal Medicine in Palma. The Civil Guard has yet to comment officially on the tragedy.
The grieving family, who were expected to return to Ireland later today, have been offered trauma counselling. A source close to the family revealed, “The girl who died was one of three children. The parents were asleep and didn’t realise what had happened until afterwards.”
