Gunshot Rattles Colindale Home on Grahame Park Estate
Police rushed to Grahame Park Estate in Colindale around 10:30pm on Sunday, 11 October after reports of a firearm discharge. Officers found a bullet hole blasted through the front door of a residence. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the scare.
Trident Detectives Launch High-Tech Hunt for Shooter
Specialist Crime North’s Trident team has swung into action. They’re combing through extensive CCTV footage to track down the culprit. So far, no arrests have been made as detectives keep an open mind about the motive.
Investigators suspect the shooting might be a case of mistaken identity.
Detective Pleads for Community Help
“This has left those inside shaken and distressed but, thankfully, not injured. They have no idea why anyone would target their home,” said Detective Constable Michael Clinch, leading the probe.
“We are conducting extensive enquiries to find out who was responsible for this reckless attack. I urge anyone with information to come forward. Communities play a vital role in tackling violent crime. Your tips can help prevent crime, keep London safe, and save lives.”
