Massive Blaze Rips Through Kensington Home – 100 Firefighters Battle Flames
Inferno Engulfs Three Floors of Five-Storey House
Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters swooped on a devastating fire on Vicarage Gate, Kensington. Flames tore through part of the second, third, and fourth floors in the five-storey building, sending thick smoke billowing into the sky.
Firefighters Battle Tough Blaze Hidden in Wall Void
Station Commander Jon Singleton, leading the operation, revealed the tricky challenge crews faced. “On arrival, we saw smoke pouring from the house. Searching further, we found the fire inside a wall void,” he said.
Specialist cutting gear was brought in to access the hard-to-reach blaze. Firefighters worked tirelessly to stop the fire spreading to nearby properties.
Bird’s Eye View and Road Closures Aid Firefighting Efforts
