The community is in mourning following the tragic death of 16-year-old Tyrese Johnson, who drowned at Lodge Farm Reservoir on Tuesday evening. West Midlands Police confirmed that the incident occurred around 6 PM when Tyrese, who had just completed his school year, encountered difficulties while in the water.

Chief Superintendent Anthony Tagg of the Dudley Command Kent Police’s dog section has added three new recruits to their team" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpil-monitor-id="41240">added his condolences, stating, “Our deepest sympathies remain with Tyrese’s family and friends. The shock of his death has devastated the whole community, and we share that grief.”

The incident has been referred to the Coroner, and Tyrese’s family has requested privacy as they mourn. The community has come together in support, with many remembering Tyrese for his vibrant spirit and generous nature.
