M25 Chaos: Three Lanes Shut After Lorry and Coach Crash
Three lanes of the M25 in Surrey are closed after a collision between a large lorry and a coach. The smash happened on the clockwise carriageway, between Junction 10 (A3 Wisley Interchange) and Junction 11 (A320 Chertsey).
The crash occurred in lane two, with wreckage and broken glass spilling into other lanes. This has caused chaos for drivers as traffic grinds to a halt.
Massive Tailbacks and Emergency Service Delays
Highways England confirm long delays stretching back to Junction 1 and the service station. Drivers face waits of up to 45 minutes or more.
Worse still, emergency crews are struggling to reach the scene. Traffic is so gridlocked that some drivers aren’t making way for ambulances and fire engines.
The M25 is one of the UK’s busiest roads. This crash has brought a standstill on a major commuter route.
