M25 Gridlock: Drivers Stuck Since Dawn After Serious Crash Near Sevenoaks
Traffic chaos on the M25 this morning with no sign of relief. Drivers have been stuck since 5.15am as emergency services battle a serious collision between Junctions 5 and 4 near Sevenoaks, Kent.
M25 Completely Shut Both Ways – Long Delays Expected
The motorway is closed in both directions, causing long queues stretching as far as the eye can see. Kent police and Highways England teams are on the scene, working hard to clear the wreckage and manage the jam.
Motorists are warned to expect major disruption and allow plenty of extra time for their journeys. Diversion routes are also heavily congested, pushing delays even further.
Follow Diversion Signs – Stay Ahead of the Traffic
Drivers heading anticlockwise should follow the hollow black square diversion signs:
- From M25 J5, take the A21 towards Sevenoaks.
- At the M25 spur/A21, exit onto the A25 towards Sevenoaks.
- At roundabout, first exit onto A25 heading to Maidstone.
- Next roundabout, first exit onto A224 towards Bromley.
- Cross the M26, then at roundabout take the third exit towards Bromley.
- At Hewitt’s roundabout (A224/A21), take fifth exit onto M25 link to re-join M25 at J4.
