Exclusive: Murdered Southampton Teen Lucy’s Mum Bans Dad from Funeral

Twisted Ultimatum Sparks Family Feud

Exclusive news reveals that Stacey White, mum of murdered Southampton teenager Lucy McHugh, has shockingly barred Lucy’s dad, Andy McHugh, and his family from attending her funeral later this month. Stacey’s ruthless demand came after a bitter fallout, with heated texts and phone calls exchanged between the estranged couple. A family friend spilled the beans, saying Stacey told Andy he “was never really part of Lucy’s life.” The dad and his family are said to be devastated by the cold, final decision.

Mum Threatens Police Action Against Dad and Family

Stacey warned that she would call police to remove Andy and his relatives if they show up at the memorial. She posted on social media:

“It’s with a broken heart I announce that my Angel Lucy White’s celebration of life will be on 27th August at 12 noon, Hollybrook cemetery.

All who were positive in Lucy’s life are welcome to attend. Blues and greens are requested as these were Lucy’s favourite colours. We hope for respect, and police presence will be there if needed — though hopefully it won’t be.”

“Family and close friends will be seated first inside the chapel, but a PA system will be set up outside. Please place flowers outside the chapel on the grass surrounds.”

She ended by thanking supporters and demanding justice for her “precious baby.”

Family Friend Hopes for Reconciliation

A close family friend told UK News in Picture that Andy’s family remains gutted but hopeful Stacey might relent before the funeral. “She was my beautiful little girl, taken too soon by that monster,” the friend said. The bitter family split adds a heartbreaking twist to an already tragic tale of a young life stolen.
