Two Men Busted in Early Morning Car Break-In Spree in Ashford
Just after 3am on Thursday, 26 May 2022, Ashford’s Local Policing Team swooped following reports of break-ins across Bensted, Ashford. Two men allegedly broke into several vehicles before being disturbed and fleeing the scene.
Suspects Caught and Bailed
Officers quickly spotted two men matching the suspects’ description. The 36-year-old and 33-year-old males, both from Ashford, were detained on suspicion of interfering with motor vehicles. They’ve since been released on bail as inquiries continue.
Stolen Bling Recovered – Owners Urged to Claim
Police found a stash of jewellery during searches: a gold watch plus three gold rings featuring emerald, pearl, and plain designs. Authorities have released images of the recovered items and are urging the rightful owners to come forward.
