Teenager Charged with Murder of Gabriel Bringye in N17 Stabbing
David Adeyanju, 18, from Golders Green, appeared before Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court today, Friday 5 March. He faces a murder charge in connection with the fatal stabbing of 37-year-old Gabriel Bringye.
New Suspect in Gabriel Bringye Murder Case
Adeyanju was remanded in custody, with his next court date yet to be set. Four other teenagers had already been charged with Gabriel’s murder. One of them faces an additional charge of handling stolen property.
Stabbing Shocks North London Community
Police were called to Jarrow Road, N17, at 7:21pm on Wednesday, 17 February after reports of a man found unresponsive inside a car. Paramedics from London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance raced to the scene.
Gabriel Bringye was discovered with a stab wound. Despite emergency crews’ best efforts, he was pronounced dead at 8pm. His family is now being supported by specialist officers.
