Police Race to ID Man Found Dead in Wallasey Park

Detectives are scrambling to identify a man whose body was found in Wallasey early Monday morning.

Body Discovered at Wallasey’s Central Park

At around 6.30am on 20 May, police were called to Central Park on Liscard Road after a man’s body was spotted by a lake. The victim, pronounced dead at the scene, has been recovered. A post mortem will be carried out, with the death currently deemed unexplained.

Who Was He? Desperate Plea for Answers

The man is described as white, aged between 45-50, bald, and roughly 5ft 8in tall. He wore a red, white, and blue hoodie, black jeans with a brown belt, and black boots. A pair of glasses were found nearby.

Detective Inspector Paul Parry said: “Extensive enquiries are underway to identify this man. I would ask anyone who has information to come forward, whether you recognise who he might be, or have concerns about the wellbeing of a loved one you haven’t heard from recently.”
