Flasher Strikes Three Times Near Foremark Reservoir
Police are hunting a brazen flasher after three shocking incidents in rural Derbyshire in the last 10 days. The attacks happened around Foremark Reservoir, Hartshorne, and Repton, leaving local women rattled.
Latest Incident on Christmas Day Afternoon
The most recent shocking encounter took place between 3.50pm and 4pm on Monday, 26 December. A woman in her 30s was walking through a field off Mill Hill in Repton when a man standing at a gate suddenly exposed himself. He then fled towards Mount Pleasant Road.
Earlier Shocks Near Reservoir and Brook Street
- On Wednesday 21 December, two incidents were reported in the area around Foremark Reservoir near Milton. Between 3.30pm and 4pm, a woman in her 30s was passing a man who had jogged past her earlier. He stopped ahead then exposed himself as she walked by.
- Also on 21 December, a 16-year-old girl was shocked when a man exposed himself as she rode her horse along Brook Street near Greysich Lane in Hartshorne.
Police Issue Description and Urgent Appeal
The suspect is described as white, slim, around 6ft tall, aged late 30s to 40s, with short dark brown hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, and running trainers.
“We take these incidents very seriously and are doing all we can to track down the person involved,” said Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeant Tarj Nizzer. “Patrols are being stepped up in the area. If you’ve witnessed anything, noticed suspicious behaviour, or have any information, please come forward.”
“Do not approach anyone suspicious,” Sgt Nizzer added. “Stay safe but report it immediately and try to provide as many details as possible.”
