Tragic Crash: Pedestrian Killed on St George’s Place

Fatal Collision Shocks Local Community

Just after 10.15pm on Wednesday 4 November 2020, a dark-coloured Dacia Logan struck a 20-year-old man on St George’s Place. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital.

Sadly, the young man later died from his injuries.

Serious Collision Investigation Underway

The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) has launched a full probe into the tragedy. They are urgently appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.
